Happily Married

Thirty-four years we've been married, and our life together has been varied. But our love just keeps growing, so this I am knowing, we'll be together until we're buried! Now if that's not okay with you, dear, let me make myself perfectly clear: you are stuck with me like glue, and there's nothing you can do. So take that and stick it in your ear!
5/29/30 (Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary and the first limerick is truth. The 2nd limerick is just to be funny. No trouble in Paradise here, folks!)

My parents had an argument and my daddy said well I will just take half of everything and leave and you can keep the other half and stay..Mother said well I will just pack my half up and follow you..LOL..Life offers us much about which to argue but some are able to stick it out..Congrats on the long time together..It is not many this day who can say that..My husband and I have had over fifty years together..We still argue but we manage to work it out and stay together..Thanks for the visit..Sara

My mother-in-law called a couple months after we'd been married and asked if we'd had our first fight yet. I told her we had argued a couple of times and she surprised me by saying "Good!" She said her mother had told her that anyone who was married and said they never fought either were lying or had a very dull marriage. Our marriage hasn't been dull. lol Thanks for commenting, Sara!
