Hands of Light

She lets him lift her with hands of light
Discarding tattered robes of darkness
Warmth penetrating her broken heart
Some promises really do come true

Strange comfort comes from the pain we hold

Listen for the sound of a gentle knock

Suitcases that are too heavy to hold

He promises to take them away
