Handkerchief
A piece of cloth for major of mass
Some take as a symbol of style
Many like to see it colourful and fun
Few carry to protect under the sun
A very petty non living creation by man
Yet addresses moments significant
Helps in ways to lessen deep distress
Being lifeless still understands stress
Personified image of handkerchief
As situations handled dwell in weep
Supports a person when in grief
No life of its own to allow peep
Strange is the relation of mankind with it
Hardly lets realise how much its need
Proverbs made on it ,all to nicely tease
Regarded worthless as it cannot speak
However, Handkerchief - best of friends to hold on
