Hammered Metal Poetry

hard hit pieces of metal

bullet and fasten

the perfect tool

hand held weapon

finger on the trigger

an impulse so pure

hope follows near

a click of a tap complete the design

strikes metal on metal

 never standing beside

fractured and battered

kill or stun

trigger for a hammer

holds the power

a weight in balance

slight twist of the wrist

a rush inside the stretch

rewards the protest

strikes down hard

a click of gears

free the rip of claws

destiny, must choose or stall

forever still walking the wall

pushing the hands that wind

life and chaos divine
