Halloween's Love
Intense infernal fiery eyes
look into your innocent ones.
There's a hellish magnetism in the air
and then his eyes turn dark.
There is desire there, a lust not easily
satiated, but somehow
you must be unaware of its existence.
It draws you in, slowly steadily.
The heinous dance begins
as he mesmerizes you to ecstasy.
“Trick or Treat” he whispers.
Your heart races as you stare
at his pale lean face, thin lips
curved into an accursed smile.
He craves for you with ardor
and it makes you feel proud
that someone has noticed you,
and asked you to Halloween’s dance.
You spin and pirouette inside
The darkened hall, hollow pumpkins
With candles, throw long shadows.
He deftly guides you away from a mirror on the wall,
afraid you'll guess his nature
Since his image cannot be seen.
Little does he know that neither yours is seen.
