Halloween Whispers

Witchcraft magic tantalizes Halloween night. Teenage vampires are suddenly filled with fright. Dracula hides in a corner with nary bit of light. Cooking cauldron laughs when recipe is just right. Zombies start a rumble, now a full-blown fight. The moon glows with a weird surreal mystical light. Would tell you about the mummies, but rumors aren’t polite.

I don't cook any more so cannot relate. I cooked the first 35 years of marriage; Decided 13 years ago it is his turn. He is a much better cook but neither of us knew it because he had never even EVER made his own sandwich before I went on strike.
