Halloween Night
Leaves are spiraling in the wind,
as they carpet the main road.
Trees' shadows look like angry,
avenging spirits waking from
their slumber.
Silence in the streets is deafening,
as garbage papers brush across
the lonely paths.
Lights in the abandoned mansions
appear and disappear,
and humanly figures appear
and disappear.
The moon is big and bright,
as its glow exposes scarecrows
spread all over a maize farm.
It is a Halloween night....
