Halloween Night
Around the corner the old house stood
Though abandoned, it was lived in still
By creatures from the nearby woods
But its eerie look gave many a chill
But on Halloween some sought their thrills
And into the old house they ventured in
Thinking they'd see nothing but a mouse
As they walked around with nervous grins
But they got the scare of their lives
When a vampire from his coffin rose
And bared his fangs to bite their throats
They ran like hell and through the door they did bolt
Around the corner the old house stood
A haunted house in the neighborhood
At the door the vampire now greets
Those who dare to stop for trick or treats
