Halloween Night

As the sun begins to set The children come out in their costumes They are ready for scares but nobody else is yet At the end of the block, they howl like wolves as the moon blooms Each house has better and better candy that they can't wait to eat But, at the last house they see the most delicious treat They race towards it but realize their only one left They tug on the bowl containing the fine piece of chocolate Suddenly they hear a “BANG” They realize its better to share and they realize how they were incorrect Cleaning up the mess they leave the chocolate to someone not as desperate
