Hallowed Hallways
A hallowed hall of darkness cold breeze fills the air
Slowly creeping forward shadows on the wall
A glimpse of light reveals blood soaked floors
Corpse like figures crawling bodies twisted
Mouths sewn tight no words just moans
Deafening screams shatter dusty mirrors
Tattered curtains line the windows
Creaky panels line the walkway
Dangling ropes adorn the ceiling
Dark figure standing in the doorway
Arm extends fingers call me to him
Relentless whispers call my name
Involuntary steps drawing me closer
Come with me into the darkness
The face remains to far to see
The air has thickened became so cold
I try to focus my vision clouded
Chest feels heavy it’s hard to breath
I can feel his touch it chills my bones
Hands touch my face eyes are bleeding
I try to scream my mouth sewn tight
Doors slammed behind me I’m all alone
His face a mystery I am his captive
Now a corpse body twisted
I walk the hallways
Of my mind
