Hallmark's Busy Day

Valentines consist of pleasant thoughts They speak straight from the heart Of cupids, arrows and turtle doves And sweet love words that shout From those who stutter or stumble their words with affection that can't be said Such words that turn the brave to mush can make the face turn red We thank the ones the write the verse and paint the cards sublime They spell it out, without a doubt to say "I'm glad you're mine!"

Ah, Carrie, but you ARE a "gifted romantic." Thank you for your kind words on "Too Fast for Me." My father's death has been consuming me, but I find solace in writing. Still, I cry when I pass his portrait. Such a strong and loving man he was! Carolyn

This is very beautiful Carrie. The right words can be hard sometimes to express what one truly feels....so we need to thank the poets who write the love messages.
