Fall Contest

King Sol is stealing all my energy. There’s no relief in sight, forecasters say. Come, clouds, with brief relief; this is my plea. While summer lovers bask in heat each day, I’ll dream of fall and trust in my AC.

Hello Janice, I resonate with your pleas! Clouds and a breeze are much needed during our summers. It's sunworshiper vs ac for this hiker. Great entry and image posted!

A very timely poem with the heatwaves we are experiencing. I think its something we can all relate to at the moment but we don't have AC in the uk! hugs jan xx

It reached about 78 f last weekend, today its about 66 f - we don't tend to get the extremes of temperatures on our Island, but the Uk has been very hot recently reaching about 91F - far too hot for me lol:-) hugs Jan xx
