Half of Congress

Half of Congress stood and clapped; The other half stayed seated. Was that mentioned later on When POTUS likely Tweeted? He had to see a sea of white For, like the Suffragettes, The women in the audience Don’t take that well to threats. The country seems to be the same, Divided straight in half. If it were not so scary, It might even rate a laugh.

This was well written Ilene but if you look back, when Obama was standing at the podium the (R) side sat while the (D) side stood and cheered and even before that, it is clear in my mind as if it happened yesterday, when Bush was at the podium, the (R) side stood and cheered and the (D) side sat and what I remember so clear is Hillary Clinton with her arms folded and a scowl on her face as Bush was cheered. I just think it is the way it is in politics. One side just doesn't like the other. Sad.
