Yep, conquered Sicily for a spell. Many of us are of surprising mixtures. Always thought of myself as Italian, and one of my daughters had a DNA lineage thing done, and we are 3/4 Greek. 1/4 Northern Italy. My grandmother, on my father's side (father had blue eyes) had beautiful strawberry blond hair and blue eyes -- maybe a Viking milk-man:)? Who knows?

They were an interesting group. I was watching the series on them for a while. They sure were rough.
