Arthur, your first haiku ! Anyways, the way I write haiku is with no capitalization, you have the syllables 5/7/5 correct, what does kaffirs mean, it is a great form, can be quite inspirational and beautiful, by the way haiku is about nature and senyru is about human follies, like the one you have above, so you have written one senyru not an haiku, hope you do not mind my comment, I only wish to help ~
