massive flooding
                                          tropical storm
                                            big tragedy

                                   - please leave your home


                                        destructive waves
                                            catastrophic
                                              pitilessly

                                      - please take shelter


                                         take no chances
                                        the huge monster
                                      kills man and mouse

                                        - don't be stupid ...

                                             ________
                                 
                               ( Don't play a hero, stay safe )

Connie Marcum Wong September 3, 2019 at 1:52 PM I can hardly believe the horrible damage this storm did to the Bahamas. I have visited once and the waters are clear and beautiful like Hawaii. My prayers are ongoing for the people in the path of this storm. This is a wonderful entry you have penned for the contest Anne-Lise! The Bahamas have gotten it worse.. dead, homes mashed..
