By the old path
Many footfalls echo;
Memory lingers

Early birds salute
Dawn enlightenment;
Morning arrives
~~~~~~~~~
Late night
Restless mind alert;
Sleep comes late
~~~~~~~~~
Dry weather
Rain on vacation;
Cracked earth groans
~~~~~~~~~
Poise in zest
Fest knows sweet fun;
Noisy celebration
