You may be interested to know that to actually see the moon in the morning sky the moon will be seen in the West and not the East. For this reason it will be a waxing moon and not a waning moon. It is not easy to write poetry that is scientifically accurate! :-)
waxing moon hugs trees
fall’s last roses lingering
I sip morning tea
