Winding road uphill
Surprise awaits;
Mountain view

Heatwave chokes
Strangles pulse;
Still air heavy

Calm stillness
Temple echoes;
Stillness pervades

People gather
Prayer festival;
Two worlds meet

Hallway echoes
People pickle;
Sweet-sour vintage

Uneasy room
Words fumble;
Loneliness excavates
~~~~~~~~~
Dreamy distance
Broken bridges;
Mellow zeros
~~~~~~~~~
Happy looks sad
Funny senses;
Empty echoes
~~~~~~~~~
Sad moments
Pain exfoliates;
New chapter starts

Lovely patterns
Zen garden etchings;
Less floods more

Haiku recluse
Senryu lines slot;
Murky senses

Glyphs abound
Signals lost;
Meaning fades

Flowers fade
Autumn comes;
Cold indifference

Self-talk here
Solitary now;
I, me and myself
