Haiku I Hope

beautiful morning flowers were full of glory and loved each minute could hear each soft sound as the leaves had hit the ground only in my mind saw small fish swimming up and down a long river food trying to find friends wish we had been then all things would have worked out but died before me such a pretty sight woman who I always loved will marry someday times were always tough then I finally met you and was so thankful

James, you nailed it my friend ;-) A real joy to read your words this afternoon. Last year I was told my haiku was in fact a senyru - I was in the dark too. But I sometimes prefer the dark ;-)

Jack, I only started writing them last year, and i like them because for me its like going to a gym for a mental workout ! :-)

LG, I have a lot to learn about Haiku. I created my own Haiku and call it Horn Haiku where all of the lines rhyme and are 5-7-5. http://www.poetrysoup.com/poets/top_100_poets_most_poems_all_time.aspx
