Reading these three lines is enough for me to feel cold, Phyllis. Come to think of it; soon summer will be here and those same animals will be hot and getting flea or mosquito bitten! ~ Warm regards // paul

Just reading this made me feel frost bitten. Great descriptiveness in just seventeen syllables.

Oh I can feel for them. When it's really cold I feel so sorry for the animals that don't have shelter. I mostly worry for the horses and cattle but some dogs are not well sheltered either. Well done Phyl. GodBless, JB

- I can not remember such a cold winter as this, Phyllis - Early this morning we had 21 minus degrees - We are all being bitten by the frost ... both humans and animals - an excellent haiku :) - Stay warm, my friend :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

We are in such a deep freeze at the moment. Today with windchill hit -50C so have to be careful outside. Thanks Annelise and you stay warm too. love phyl

Oh that is truly sad! Do they? I’ve never thought about that!

It is very cold in fact bitter cold at the moment. Yes animals can get frost bitten too. They even make coats and boots for dogs and cats to go out. I look at the poor birds and wonder how they stay outside yet still sing merrily. Have a great weekend. love phyl
