Had Anyone Seen
My feet gave way without my consent
I found myself lying on the kitchen floor
Close to the dog bowl
I had gone down suddenly
Did not realize until I felt mucus in my hands
So this is what pain feels like
My head flew up
Pride willed me
I looked around
Wondering who had seen
Jumped up quickly
Pride ruling
Again
