Gypsy

I am a shadow,
A passing thought,
Hiding on the edges,
The fringes,
From those who would call me a witch,
A Godless vagrant,
Not so Godless as they might think,
Luck and Fortune my siblings,
Water, Earth, Air, and Fire my parents,
Love my only binding,
Free as any bird in the sky,
Any fish in the sea,
Free to wander as I please,
Dabbling in palm reading and fortune telling,
I am not to be tied down,
Not a carefree wind,
But a playful wind,
With Love in my thoughts,
Hope in my breast,
And Freedom my dearest friend,
I am a gypsy,
Vagrant wanderer,
Free spirit,
Lover,
Mother,
Me!
