   The just-hired employee
The representative-elect
   The groom and bride-to-be

All of them enthusiastic
   All of them gung-ho
Within a few months or so
   Where does that spirit go?

Haha, this is so common of an occurrence; we can have the spirit of kings at their favorite sport and just a few downers later, it can be crushed. We must learn to strengthen our spirit so that we can continue to, "jump out of that box, despite the naysayers. Enjoyed.
