Guilt and Tears

Guilt and tears
Who are you to do the deed
But cry at the sear
Fall in deep
But lie out of fear

Sin or not
Guilt seeks destruction
Of everyone in its clot
Fled the temptation
Of mercy not despot

She, he or they
None the wiser
Capable of escape
So climbed up higher
In search of the tare

Little not much
Did they feel on top
So they trodded, thought fun
Down and down; they stop
Their guilt yet not outrun

*tare is a very common plant
