Guided By a Single Candle Light
The advancing night
forces a rout of the daylight.
After the sun takes flight,
there is a domination by the night.
I follow my path with a single candlelight.
That one candle burns with a flame that’s bright.
It helps me distinguish the wrong from the right.
A little candle carries much moral might.
