Guided

I walked slowly in the brisk, cool air of early morning
I thought of the many changes time and seasons bring
The sun filtered through the layers of leaves above me
The brightness so wished for, on those gray days that pass
Birds were in flight with freedom to start the day
	   -  As my flight had just begun  -
I looked in all directions, listened to the sounds of nature
To calm my soul, to be guided on my path, with patience

There are so many modern distractions in our lives. But a walk in natural surroundings is what our souls need.The beauty of mountains , rivers and the trees which are now even now spectacular. Well written Heidi. Tom

It is always nice to be out in nature first thing in the morning. We get to see and feel all that is around us. It helps to make for a better day. Great imagery. Nicely done.
