Guardian Angel
When people descend into the realm of nothingness
they ascend into guardian angels
so they say,
I hope it's true
because by then you would be mine.
Watching over me day and night
how safe I would be.
Enlightening every path I tread on
how cared for I would be.
Safeguarding me from misfortunes of this sick,cruel world
how loved I would be.
Bearing off my cries and sorrows
how at peace I would be.
It would be eleven years now
Eleven years of your resolute love and care
I hope it's true,
because by then how ecstatic I would be Mama.
