Guardian
I am no hero
Because heroes can sometimes betray.
I lurk in the shadows
Protecting myself including others around me,
Even the ones I love the most.
I can sometimes be the villain,
And see no evil,
But deliver us to the heavens above.
For I am a guardian
The protector that rebels against negative energy,
Walking a path that others won’t follow.
I will neither lead nor follow
But look after the ones I care the most.
Evil I shall vanquish
Sent away from my soul
So I shall be set free,
And forgive those who trespassed against me.
For I am a guardian
Sent from the heavens above.
