Gripped Ketten

Gripped inside her studious look,
look at the razors in her eyes.
Eyes that speak determination,
determination holds you gripped.

Gripped with all of her quiet fire,
fire that feels fiendishly catching.
Catching left you with bated breath,
breath that’s totally transfixed gripped.

This poem vividly captures the intensity of a powerful gaze, making the reader feel both captivated and tense. Its repetition of “gripped” perfectly mirrors the hold the subject exerts.
