Grief: the Price of Love
Grief flows over me like ocean waves_
My heart is jagged pieces and my soul is broken;
Sometimes, I have difficulty breathing in air;
And stand weeping for hours at graves;
My friends tell me I am quiet and soft spoken;
True, I am in a fog of despair.
I am on a long spiritual ramble;
Sometimes- at nothing for moments I stare;
And I smile though I am heartbroken;
So today, I gather my strength to take a gamble:
But, my grief stays in a tear.
