Grey Smiles

let’s plunge into the unknown and the endless
let’s smile like it’s 1920’s again
let the evening fall upon us
I’ll be your silent
                                        prince of nothingness.

let’s hide in the back alley shadows
of our own afterlife cinema
walk by the grey walls
of old town mansions
                                        in October all year round.

let’s race to the lonely fringes of history
sink to each other north of heaven
winter our watery eyes
hide our grey smiles
					in our angelhood.
