Grey In November

When platinum winds howl
Red leaves turn silver
With their smoky breath
Dove grey clouds reign rain ~
Time for sweet cider
Next to a warm fire.

Dear Sam, your poem offers a lovely illustration of emotional temperature regulation and psychological nesting. As the external environment turns stark, bleak, and metallic, human instincts pull us toward internal sanctuary, what psychology often frames as seeking a refugium. So concise, visually striking, and leaves me feeling wrapped in a warm blanket by the fire. Delightful and atmospheric work, Sam. Blessings, Daniel
