Grey

the cleansing tears of stratus sky
the silver tress as death draws nigh
she implored her loves that cry
to not regret ~ do not lament
for all her days were heaven sent...

Craig, I like pointing out a line or phrase in a poem that stood out as significant to enhancing the author's intent. I cannot because each of your five lines is epochal. Excellent brevity!

Oh my gosh dear craigsz, this is so sad, made me so sad reading this, i felt the emotional depth of your poem, and i always fear losing loved ones , and i thought of my grandma as i read this and now im in tears! Its amazing how just few lines or words could evoke so many emotions, when written from the soul of a poet that has nothing but such an exquisite and effortless way of pulling heartstrings. I love your wordplay and the voice of this and the way youv set the mood here! This poem, I will remember and is a fave for me! Sigh
