Green White Green

Of leaves, so endowed
Of unity, so strong
Of good planted hearts, renowned
A world so vast filled in a mug
Oh great motherland, obvious is the divine greatness you owned
Ye are the universe, ye are a sprouting bud
She is my abode, she is my betrothed, to your simple fascination that allures I bowed
Of love and harmony, spreading and drenching the lands
Strength, power and fortune, how shall it be described, Nigeria has it in her hands
Delight, exult and prospect filled the nation like its sand.

As soon as in did read the title i knew also it was the Nigerian flag. Love of the motherland and all she portends to be. Your heart does sing when you write of Nigeria, and why not my Friend, the country that shaped you into what you are now. I do know the colours of your heart my friend.
