Green I Did Dye

Green I Did Dye or My Gray Hair I always liked seeing her long eye lashes Making her fine face look very flirtatious; Then when her beautiful body was seen, She appeared to be some sexy teen. Right off the bat was soon that I knew Had to go hit bar and have a few Beers which found to bring me around To hear her voice with such a great sound. On dance floor did become a divine delight Especially when I held her close and tight Could hear my heart go pitter and patter But she left me and away would scatter. Not only that, she had left me completely The one who once loved so very deeply And soon finally found out the reason why It was my gray hair that green I did die. James Thomas Horn, Retired Veteran
