Green

The color of spring. Chloroplasts are colored green. New growth all around. New sprouts arise from the ground. All greeting the new season. 5/13/2013

I look forward to this color all winter...and the "lettuce" trees I lovingly call them...

Reads like a winner to me..Enjoyed reading this morn..My middle grandson's favorite color is Pine Tree green so this one got my attention..Good luck in the contest..Thanks for stopping by..Those Purple House Finches are so pretty..They are actually red..I have no idea why they were called purple..My mother-in-law could not stand them for they will build nest in the eves of houses, on post on the porch, etc..They were introduced in the US when a load that were meant for pets in homes escaped.Sara
