John your poems are always good. I put some more info on a blog. "What judges don't like in a Haiku and Punctuation". Read it and give me some feed back. You mentioned the Meditation poem. No I didn't put it into a contest yet, but I will. I think it is one of my better poems, but did it in like about 30 seconds. It came to me and I had pen in hand and just jotted it down. Carol Brown was recouping and I dedicated it to her. Let me hear from you, I appreciate your comments. rgds cgh

John, very creative. I think that is the genius in these kind of contests - finding a place to take it where nobody else would go - "dinosaur blood" is a very creative, intelligent and witty description for the oil. Bravo. Joe

Greed and more greed! .they refuse to believe that when you destroy nature, you do the same to man...everything God made is one..everything is related..common sense would tell them that man and nature, all share the air and environment..one can't survive without the other!!! But greed rules in the corporate world...Good luck in the contest, John.. Peace, Audrey
