Greed

greed is the ugliest of sins robbing the poor to line one’s pockets knocking people to their knees reducing them to begging while they are asked to wait patiently for what is due them how dare they make them wait it’s all one huge conspiracy how can you sleep at night have you no conscience can you really just pretend that delay is without consequence how much do you need to be satisfied has your greed no bounds we can’t imagine the utmost greed coveting profits gained from deliberately postponing payments while honest people live deep in despair AP: 2nd place 2021 Posted on January 11, 2019

Sadly, the jobless situation has not done any good for many; it's built this greed "wall" disease and it's very contagious. Where are the role models who champion generosity, these days? We poets can't do it alone.

So true. The jobless situation is creating a irreconciable gap that only grows.

The greediness I see seems to be at an all time high, Line. I had never seen it like this before, so this poem rings true.

Making money off poor people has become an art. Disgusting.
