Greatness

Everyday I lay awake,
Wishing I would just forget,
All the pain and suffering,
That came and went,

Never did I ever know,
People stood beside me,
Loving me and caring for me,
Shall I become something amazing,

Always scared or ever known,
Words that I can't explain meaning,
Keep on writing, don't stop
Everything is wrong, but I wont stop

I really appreciate your positive approach. Really, I have this issue, either to continue or stop writing because everything sometimes seems wrong.

Me too. This was one of my main topics of the poem, another was the stress of having to uphold a certain image. I'm a writer for a company and everyday they give me a topic to write about and they expect a certain way I write it. It's either not to there standards or needs work. Everyday I go threw this process and even after I change it, they edit it before it gets published. This poem is very important to me. Thank you for your comment :)
