Great Escape Kept At Bay
G - Go-getters aren't allowed to grope and mope
R - regretting bad luck has come to stay.
E - Escape comes with a measure of sheer hope
A - accepting whatever comes their way.
T - Tough times find them climbing up a frayed rope.
E - Encouraged by effort, the optimist
S - sees the sun shining behind every cloud.
C - Cope is his middle name and its gist
A - accompanies the belief he has avowed.
P - Prayer plays its part for this realist;
E - earth passes though heaven comes with a shroud.
