Gray Face Crow

The noble gray faced crow The majestic flawless glow Your the unusual Alpha male of the pack With the big grey stripe on your back Your leap of fate off the trees Your gliding through the sky as I can see Your weightless balance on the tree tips Seeing you with my quivering lips The spikes on your wings make you fly so high Your the kite that glides in the pristine sky's You only come out when the sun opens its shine I wish you could be a creature of mine I set in my stillness as I watch You open your wings and they lock in place You stop my time as I don't feel the tocks go by I will wait for you and sit in place Because I wont forget your awakening gray face

Seldom does one see a poem written to the crow. He is the despised bird because of his thieving ways. Great job. Thank you for your kind words and hope you enjoy Poetry Soup for a long time. Love, Joyce
