Gratitude For Life
Gratitude for life
Can't say how I was born no more
Enough of no silver spoon stories
Am grateful of whom I am
I got no regrets and hope it never comes
Cos I watch my steps in the green grass
Knowing fully well how deceptive
Life can be with the green snakes
In the same jungle that feed us all
In the struggles of survival
I never pleaded for vanity yet
It never disappear from knocking
On my ways always
Life is deep this is not a lie
I can't be so sure never to say never again
But am sure I will never fail to live
In a dying world
Despite all the temptations of life
I appreciate the gifts of nature
And hope the greedy never kills us young
Again for nothing no more
in the jungle of our survival
