Life doesn’t always go according to plan
I know you will always be by my side
Need you as a soup sister in my life

Let’s hope we meet for real one day
Always supporting me on and off soup
Nothing is too much trouble for you
Expert advice, I appreciate you so much

Lin has become such a treasured friend as you are Paul - at least we have had the joy of meeting each other, perhaps one day i will get to the US there are so many poets I would love to meet:-) hugs jan xx

They won’t bring Lin down, she’s far too good a poet, only lesser and jealous poets may try, but she has nothing to fear from these anonymous cowards!

Thank you David, Lin has been a tower of strength to me both on and off soup especially last year when my life was so challenging. Sadly there are still some people posting on the site who are trying to bring her down so I hope this poem shows solidarity. hugs jan xx

Jan, my sweet island friend. We've been like sisters to each other almost from the day we met nearly 8 years ago. We've helped each other through so many family and personal trials that we're bonded together as if we are fleshly sisters. I love you for this Acrostic tribute. Thank you is hardly saying enough about how much it means to me. Hugs for you, Chick!!
