Gratefulness
For when the hug is felt,
And when the smile is real
When you touch my skin
And I caress your tear
Embracing you I feel
The tension as it drops
And when I meet your gaze
I see inside your soul
Gratefulness is life
It's how you choose to live
And this you teach me whole
When I embrace your tear
