Grateful l Found You

I feel grateful tonight
Grateful for this poetry site
Grateful for the comfortable joy it gives me
Grateful for this platform to freely write

I am grateful to the poets
Who stand on this platform alongside me
Grateful for all that is shared
The honesty, realness and vulnerability 

I am grateful for the friendships
The support and encouragement 
Kindheartedness and understanding
From poets both past and present

I am grateful for the warmth and kindness
The positivity, humour, smiles and laughter
For knowledge and confidence gained along the way
And knowledge gained hereafter

I am grateful to the ones who share their heart
Are kind, trustworthy ,genuine, true
I am grateful l found Poetry Soup
