Grateful From the Start
I admire you to the fullest,
For accepting me into your heart.
You didn't have to do that,
I'm forever grateful from the start.
The moment you saw my face,
You watched a light shine deep within.
Unaware of how life would change,
The moment that you bravely stepped in.
When you told me that I could,
Consider you as my real Dad.
Made my heart fillup with joy,
For that, I'll forever be glad.
You do not know how much,
Of an influence you have on me.
Giving me back what I'd lost,
Is the best gift that'll last eternally.
I admire you to the fullest,
For accepting me into your heart.
