Granite
Heart impenetrable.
I hammer a nail
In a vain attempt
To hang my portrait.
In the depth of her soul.
She loves me not,
The spark has long died,
Like a weak light
In a hurricane lamp.
Everything's dark
And hard.....
Like granite.
