Grandmother

You were grand
And a mother too!
The mother that gave us our mother
And for that we are grateful that we had a grandmother like you

We had so many talks
So many laughs
Just with you!

A smile that was so grand
If only everyone in the entire world knew!

You were grand!

The warmth of your smile
The wisdom of your words
The pitch of your laugh
The sense of your humor
All of our most grand memories included you!
I wish we could make more

You were grand!

But the end was never planned

All things great and grand seem to come to an end so soon
And that goes for people too

Now all we do is shed tears when we think of you
The memories that we will never get to finish with you

But yet we grieve for those that didn't know you
Rather than those that did
Because they didn't get to experience how grand you really were

- RIP to my AMAZING grandmother who I miss very much!
