Grandma's Pond

A small pond,
nestled in the ever soft grass!
The sun glints off the surface
of this peaceful pool!
A small waterfall
cascades over the rocks,
constantly churning the water.
The breeze a soft whisper
against my face.
Small trees of pine,
stand off to one side!
The gentle gurgle of water
ever present, so peaceful and quiet!
Absolutely beautiful!

I'm wondering why you chose the exclamation points here. They seem to not quite make sense with the quiet and peaceful theme of the poem, but you evoked a lovely scene. Good work, keep it up. -Jeremy
